First thing I noticed when I look at this photo is the great focus and the crisp detail. Yet, the problem I have with that is the depth of field. Its a bit too small because it seems 2-3 water droplets are the subject. The green backround next to the water seems to be the focus point leaving the droplets a little blurry. The photo is very interesting because of the soft backround and perfectly oval droplets. While that is pretty, its not something you can really get lost in. Overall this photo is well done composition wise that draws your eye in but struggles to keep it there.
Wow, i liked this picture a lot to be honest. The fact that it's a rather unblemished leaf with well positioned water droplets speaks of the patience and effort put into creating this macro piece.
While it was a good portrayal of a leading path down the leaf to the core, i believe in this case, an increased depth of field could have made it better because of the need to emphasise the rest of the water droplets and not just this one in front of us.
Otherwise, I believe it's a great piece with texture. Definitely not the most unique one i've seen, but definitely enough to hold it's own.
